Privacy Policy

The SmartWash mobile application ("App") is operated by SmartWash LLC. This document describes the personal data we collect through the App, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
- Identity: first name, last name, father's name, phone number, email, FIN code (optional), car make/model/plate number.
- Device: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications, device type, OS version.
- Payment & balance: account balance, transaction history, promo code usage. Card details are NOT stored by SmartWash — only the third-party payment processor handles them.
- Usage: booking date/time, wash type, branch selection, support/feedback messages.
2. Why we collect it
- Identity verification via OTP and account management
- Booking creation, tracking, and reminder delivery
- Loyalty program (coins, tier, referrals) management
- Customer support and dispute resolution
- Compliance with legal (accounting, tax) requirements
3. Sharing with third parties
- Google Firebase (Google LLC, USA) — FCM token and notification payload for push delivery.
- SMS provider (LSIM QuickSMS, Azerbaijan) — phone number to deliver OTP codes.
- Payment processor — amount and transaction ID at the moment of payment.
- We do NOT sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Retention
Personal data is retained while you actively use the App. When you request account deletion, your personal data is anonymized within 30 days; however, accounting documents (invoices, payment receipts) may be retained for up to 5 years as required by Azerbaijani tax law.
5. Security
- All network communication is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
- Passwords and OTP codes are protected with bcrypt/hash functions.
- Server-side role-based access control (RBAC) and fraud monitoring are enforced.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to and a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data (via the App's Profile section)
- Delete your account — from the App's Profile → Delete account menu, or from smartwash.az/account-delete
- Disable push notifications entirely (from device settings)
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
